1) Chlorhexidine Gluconate is NOT effective against Ebola
Also known as CHG or Surgical Scrub, Chlorhexidine Gluconate is listed as having limited activity against Enveloped Virus’ such as Ebola. This means that you should be looking for a more effective product. One such product is Rubbing alcohol. Iso Alcohol is listed as having effective activity against Ebola. 2) Ebola Is Not Airborne
Ebola is not technically Airborne but it can be spread via droplet i.e. a sneeze. It is important to realize that while Ebola may not cause you to sneeze, if someone has a common cold and Ebola they may be bleeding from the nose due to Hemorrhagic Fever and Sneezing due to the cold. Even though Ebola did not cause that sneeze it became an effective vector for transmission.
